Jai Chinnakonda

Founder & CEO 

Jai Chinnakonda is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of ENGAIZ. The tech company was founded based on an underlying philosophy that revolves around the need to build lasting relationship with third parties to help enterprises meet business objectives.

“We started ENGAIZ with the sole purpose of helping enterprises provide a single source of truth for third party risk intelligence keeping sustainability as a core business principle. From providing risk intelligence, automated risk assessment, helping third parties improve their risk posture to promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), OPEN3PRX™ provides organizations with the most comprehensive third-party risk management solution.” says Jai Chinnakonda. 

Leveraging his and the advisory boards decades of experience as leaders in risk management and sustainability, the ENGAIZ platform embeds in its design an integrated risk management solution. As a Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional, his passion is to help both enterprises and their third-parties to build a win-win relationship.

Before his current venture, for close to two decades, Jai has held many technical and senior leadership roles with global companies like IBM, ATOS Syntel and Tech Mahindra. As an experienced IT Executive and a Trusted Advisor, his responsibilities included managing large technology outsourcing engagements across North America, UK and Europe.

Jai is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, an opt-in research community of business professionals. He was also a contributing member to the first draft of The Standard for Program Management released by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is a Founding Director of ServeIndia.Org – a non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to home country.

Balaji Subramanian

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) 

Balaji is a strong IT leader and an expert in large scale secure software engineering & development, digital transformation, application portfolio management and cyber security. He started his career as a developer and held progressive positions up to Head of Software Development & Engineering in various industries, fully responsible for architecture, development, delivery, operations and cyber security of digital platforms, intranet portal and many applications.

Prior to joining ENGAIZ, Balaji held many technical leadership roles. Recently as Vice President, Applications Development at Element Fleet Management and as Vice President, Applications Development at Arcor Hotels, FRHI Hotels & Resorts (Fairmont, Raffles, Swissotel).

Balaji completely transformed the application ecosystem and built their eCommerce platform and a suite of products that are needed to service the guests in a large global hotel management business. He has been a change agent who introduced & implemented agile, secure product development, cloud, efficient outsourcing model, and many other efficient processes & technologies.

Prior to that Balaji worked as solution architect, technical lead and senior developer in various organizations in USA & India and involved in development of various products including a global business risk information system.

Balaji has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Madras, India and a Masters degree in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA.
